Waterhouse Island

Waterhouse Island

The feeling that you get from staying in Waterhouse Island is hard to explain.  It’s small enough that you know you are on an Island but large enough to have plenty to explore.  But you know you have the Island to yourself.  It hosts pristine beaches in the leeward eastern side and rugged rocky shores on the western side.  The island itself is mainly grassland due to the consistent westerly winds.  It’s also easy to forget just how much life there is under the waves.  snorkeling anywhere around the island reveals teeming and curious sea life.

Goodbye Canada!

Goodbye Canada!

This was a very personal project for me.  After seven years of living in Canada I had made a lot of friends.  Unfortunately I had to leave and who knows if I’ll ever be back.  I started to wonder what the best way to say a goodbye would be if anything was possible.

What if you had two minutes, just before you left to enjoy the company of each group of friends doing what you loved together.  Here is my take on what that would look like.

Rafting the Kananaskis River

Rafting the Kananaskis River

One of the most scenic and accessible rivers in the Canadian Rockies. Inside Out Experience commissioned me to create a short web video to cover the two glaciers rivers.

Rafting on the Horseshoe Canyon

Rafting on the Horseshoe Canyon

A river that really has to be experienced. It is the scene of many hollywood movies most notably Legends of the Fall. This video was made for Inside Out Experience Rafting Adventures for use on their website.
